500 Female Teacher Sex Offenders - Female Teacher Sex Crime Cases

It wasn't that long ago that female on male sexual violence wouldn't have resulted in criminal charges at all.

Believe it or not, in some states in America the law is so biased against male victims that it doesn't even recognize female on male sexual assaults.  Canadian law enforcement is getting better at charging female sex offenders and prosecuting them for what they are - criminals that should be teaching.

Education of police and having more female police officers has led to more sensitivity to claims that males are sexually assaulted and by females, according to some authorities on the subject of sexual abuse and assault.

There exists a clear and wide disparity between the sentencing of convicted female and male sex offenders.

Here are some of the females accused and/or convicted of sex crimes against children.

Jessica Streeper 33, female teacher accused of sex with 13 year old boy

Philadelphia Jessica Streeper, a 33-year-old teacher in the Norristown Teacher School District, is accused of having a sexual relationship and exchanging "sexts" with an 8th grader.

Polk female teacher faces 20 additional charges of sex with student

Female teacher accused of having sex with 17-year-old faces more unlawful sex charges stemming from a relationship with another boy.

A Polk County female teacher already jailed for supposedly carrying on a love affair with a 17-year-old student now faces 20 additional counts of unlawful sex with another student, the Polk County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday.

Jennifer Fichter, 29, was jailed last week after her alleged four-month sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy at Central Florida Aerospace Academy in Lakeland came to light. Polk County sheriff's investigators this week say the English teacher had consensual sex with another one of her students over a seven-month period beginning in October 2011.

The 17-year-old boy was a junior in Fichter's English class at the time, and the two communicated with a texting application which the boy downloaded to his iPod since he did not have a cell phone, according to an arrest report. The boy told investigators at first he and Fichter two would spend time in the teacher's apartment watching TV and cuddling on the couch in September 2011. Katheryn L. Carmean, female teacher's assistant, 35, 'had sex with her son's friend, 14, several times over 10 months'

A mother faces rape charges for allegedly having sex with one of her son's 14-year-old friends several times over a 10-month period.

Katheryn L. Carmean, 35, who works as an assistant with handicapped children at Seaford Middle School in Delaware, was picked up by police at her job on Wednesday.

Bethany Appleton, 28, was arrested on 13 preliminary counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and child seduction among other charges. The incidents allegedly took place between April 11, 2011 and May 12, 2012.

On June 19, 2013, Bethany Appleton was found not guilty to all charges against her after a trial by jury.

Former Fort Thomas teacher Andrea Connors was sentenced to spend 90 days in jail Wednesday, on charges of having a sex with a male student multiple times, CBS affiliate WKRC reports.

Sarah plead guilty to the sex crime charges in a plea bargain which kept her out of jail. She walked from court holding the hand of the 17 year old male victim.  This is typical of females who assault teens males. The same thing happened in the Letourneau case below. Amberlee Evonne Meeker, 28, of Palm Coast, Florida was working as an elementary school teacher in Volusia County when she was arrested on January 5, 2012 for alleged sex crimes with children in North Carolina.

Alexandra Elizabeth McLean, 27, was working as the drama teacher at Englewood High School in Englewood, Colorado, when she was arrested for sexual assault of a 17-year-old student on January 4, 2012.

Emma Jean Hardy, 57, was working as a registrar at Memorial High School in Port Arthur, Texas, until her arrest on January 8, 2012, for having an improper relationship between educator and student.

Marie Johnson, a married 40-year-old math teacher at Granada High School in Livermore, California, was arrested on 24 counts including sexual intercourse with a minor, lewd acts with a minor, and oral copulation with a 14-year-old boy.

Cheryl Bremble, 40, High School Teacher

High school teacher, Cheryl Bremble, 40, has been accused of talking with a special-needs student about her sex life with her boyfriend and for giving the student a "sex device" while on school property.

This is an interesting case but the important issues raised about student sex education are more ited to a public debate resulting from proposed changes to the laws by a legislative assembly making new laws and considering all stakeholder views.  This teacher's views and resulting actions were criminal.

Stacy Schuler, 32, a high school gym teacher at Mason High School in Dayton, Ohio was indicted on 16 counts of sexual battery and three counts of serving alcohol to minors.

Rachel Ann Hicks, 36, of Lake Forest, California was arrested on Jan. 7, 2011, on suspicion of child molestation and rape.

Plea Deal in Teacher-Student Sex Case Garnering National Attention

A Tooele prosecutor is defending his decision to make a plea deal for a substitute teacher accused of having sex with a student. It's an issue that's getting national attention.

Melissa Kellie McBee, 47, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, was arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. McBee was a coach at Carolina High School when, according to the victim, she was allegedly sexually abused and given alcohol by McBee.

Kellie Ryan, 26, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, was arrested and charged with two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of statutory rape. Police said that Ryan, who was a physical education and health teacher at Trinity Catholic High School.

Tanya Thienngern, 37, of Aptos, California

Pajaro Valley High School teacher Tanya Thienngern, 37, of Aptos, California, was arrested for allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old male student and for providing him alcohol. .

Melissa Ann Andreini was a special education educator at Helper Junior High School in Helper, Utah when she came under investigation for sexual relations with a fifteen-year-old male student at her school.

Keri Ann Brekne was a seventh grade teacher in the social studies department at Lopatcong Township Middle School located in Phillipsburg, New Jersey when she was arrested for sexual assault against a fourteen-year-old girl in both her home in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as well as in the female child???s home in New Jersey.

Margaret De Barraicua, then age 30 at the time of the crime, was an interim teacher at McClatchy High School in Sacramento, California when police officers found her and a sixteen (16) year old male student behind the school in a parked car.

Mary Kay Letourneau was a married, elementary school teacher in Shorewood Elementary School in Burien, Washington when she began a relationship with a sixth grade student she had previously taught in second grade.

Vicky Lynn Lewallen was a forty-five (45) year old biology teacher at Norman North High School in Norman, Oklahoma, as well as the school???s basketball coach, when she was arrested for having sexual relations with a sixteen (16) year old female student.

Jennifer Mally was employed as both cheerleading coach and English teacher at Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, Arizona when she was arrested for charges relating to an alleged sexual relationship with a male, sixteen (16) year old student of hers.

Lisa Robyn Marinelli was a forty (40) year old teacher at Mitchell High School in New Port Richey, Florida when she was arrested and charged with unlawful sex with a minor.

Carrie McCandless was a twenty-nine (29) year old teacher employed at Brighton Charter High School in Brighton, Colorado when she was charged in relation to alleged sexual encounters with a seventeen (17) year old male student during an overnight school camping trip.

Alison Peck was a twenty-three (23) year old teacher employed at Greenfield High School in Greenfield, Missouri when she was arrested for having illegal sexual relations with a thirteen (13) year old male student.

Kelsey Peterson was employed as a teacher at Lexington Middle School before engaging in an affair with a sixth-grade male student and fleeing with the child to Mexico.

Stephanie Ragusa was a twenty-eight (28) year old middle school math teacher at Davidsen Middle School in Tampa, Florida before she was arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with two underage students.

Jennifer Rice was a thirty-one (31) year old contractually employed teacher for several South Sound schools in the Tacoma, Washington area before information surfaced involving her with the molestation of ten (10) year old boy, who was a former student of Rice???s at McKinley Elementary in 2007.

Donna Lou Sanders was a forty-six (46) year old teacher specializing in special education at Magnolia High School in Magnolia, Arkansas and the wife of the school???s vice principal. However, in 2008, Sanders was arrested for essentially arranging a multi-partner sexual encounter at a local motel via Facebook involving two (2) girls aged twelve and thirteen, underage boys, and a twenty-two (22) year old man.

Natasha Sizow was a twenty-four (24) year old social studies teacher and swim coach at Granby High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia until she was arrested in February of 2008 under suspicion of sending nude photos of herself via her cellular phone to two seventeen (17) year old students, including a male and a female.

Abbie Jane Swogger, age twenty- eight (28), was a teacher at Highlands Senior High School in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania before she was arrested for sexual conduct involving students and other minors. According to police, a rented hotel room contained Swogger, several teens aged fourteen (14) to fifteen (15), and numerous other illicit items, including alcohol, cannabis, and an open condom wrapper.

Traci Tapp, age twenty-six (26) years old, was a gym teacher at Hammonton High School in Hammonton, New Jersey when she initiated a relationship with a fifteen (15) year old student.

Pamela Rogers Turner was twenty-seven (27) years old and employed at Centertown Elementary School in McMinnville, Tennessee as a coach and teacher when she was arrested in connection to sexual relations with a student aged thirteen years old.

Jaymee Wallace, age twenty-eight (28), was employed in the Tampa Bay, Florida area Wharton High School, where she taught math and coach varsity girls basketball for the school. Wallace allegedly had a year and a half long lesbian love affair with a student, starting when the student was fifteen (15) years old

April Seville, 35, was an English teacher at Perkins High School in Ohio when she was arrested on June 11, 2010, for having an alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

Dr. Allison Hargrave, 39, of Lafayette, Louisiana, a former counselor at Ascension Episcopal School in Lafayette, was arraigned in federal court on a charge of attempting to entice a 13-year-old girl to engage in criminal sexual activity.

Bella Barrera, 36, of North Platte, Nebraska, was charged with having sex with a 13-year-old boy, while working at the Salvation Army Quinn Wilcox House.

Marla Gurecki-Haskins, a 37-year-old special education teacher at Canandaigua Academy, in western New York, was charged on May 24, 2010, with a felony count of disseminating indecent material to a minor and three misdemeanor counts of official misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation into her involvement with a 16-year-old male student.

Carrie Perkins, 29, a former fifth-grade teacher at Parkview Christian School in Eufaula, Alabama, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of second-degree rape and sodomy of a 15-year-old student.

Kristen Sullivan, a 25-year-old teacher at Lauderhill Middle School in Florida, was arrested for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old male student.

Christine Nixon, 24, of Alma, Arkansas, was arrested for allegedly having sex with a male student. Nixon, a former chemistry teacher at Van Buren High School, has been accused of having sex with a male student after the two began texting with each other.

The assistant principal of Middleton High School in Tampa, Lauren Tilo, 30, has been accused of sending a sexually explicit photo of herself to a 14-year-old boy.

Candace R. Pianka, 30, was employed as a fourth-grade teacher at East Salisbury Elementary School in Salisbury, Maryland when she was arrested for allegedly using a sexual device on her 13-year-old daughter.

Abby Kramer, 23, was working at Fort Scott High School in Fort Scott, Kansas when she was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a child and unlawful sexual acts with a teenage student.

Melanie K. Yusko, 22, was a student teacher at Southeast High School in Ravenna, Ohio and a student at Kent State University. She was charged with one count of sexual battery. According to the indictment the sexual encounter with a 15-year-old Southeast High School male student.

Erin Baynard Stewart, 30, was working as a social studies teacher at Chauncey Rose Middle School in Terre Haute, Indiana when she was arrested for having inappropriate relations several times with a 14 year old student.

Christine Elliot, 25, was arrested after turning herself into the Tucson Police Department. The Tucson, Arizona high school teacher and coach was charged with luring a minor for sexual exploitation and sexual conduct with a minor after inappropriate text messages were found on one of her student's phone.

Dawn Marie Schwartzengraber, 37, is a high school teacher at the Camden-Frontier High School in Camden, Michigan. She was arrested on a preliminary charge of sexual misconduct. According to Indystar.com, Schwartzengraber allegedly had sex with a male student over the past two years.

Susan Christina Alderson, 46, formerly a sixth-grade teacher at Robert Frost Elementary School in Silverton, Oregon pleaded guilty to the sexual abuse of a boy for four years, between 2002 and 2006, beginning when he was 13.

Tammy Clinton, 39, was a teacher at Farnell Middle School, when she was arrested for allegedly making sexual advances towards a 14-year-old student.

Beulah Nicole "Niki" Gilreath Sumner, 35, was arrested for allegedly having a relationship with a 17-year-old male student while she was employed as a special education teacher at Warren East High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Jennifer M. Glad, 24, was a volunteer coach for the boys' basketball team at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland, when she was arrested for allegedly having in sex with a 15-year-old male student.

Former Flint teacher Allanah Benton-Wells was sentenced to 25 to 38 years in prison for having sex with a 12-year-old former student. Benton-Wells had been tutoring the student outside of regular school hours.

Houston high school teacher, Lindsay Garcia-Yazdi, 33, was charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a child as well one count of improper relationship with a student.

Carrie Shafer, a 38-year-old biology teacher at dePont Manual High School in Louisville was arrested after she was allegedly caught by police partially nude with a student inside a parked car.

Stephanie Draper, 37, of Blair, Nebraska, pleaded no contest to charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and procuring alcohol for a minor.Draper was a teacher at Millard North Middle School when she met the boy who was 14 years old at the time.

Christine Camer, 58, of La Quinta, California, a former assistant principle of La Quinta Middle School, was arrested for suspicion of lewd acts with a child under the age of 14 and oral copulation with a person under age 16.

Jenifer Stitzel, 34, of Albaney, Oregon, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree sex abuse after the parents of a 14-year-old boy allegedly found inappropriate texting between Stitzel and the boy on his cell phone. Stitzel works as a preschool teacher at Central Valley Adventist Academy which is the same school where the boy is an eighth-grader.

Naomi Perez, 33, was teaching at Saddleback High School when she allegedly had sexual relations with a 17-year-old student who attended the school.

Tammy Key, 38, is on administrative leave from LBC Middle School in Warrenville, SC, pending an investigation into allegations that she had sex with a 14-year-old student.

Alison Peck, a former high school band teacher from Springfield, Mo., pleaded guilty to statutory rape and was sentenced to five years in prison for having sex with a 16-year-old student.

Amy Rita Ellsworth, 37, was working as a special education non-instructional aide at Waterford Mott High School in Waterford, Michigan, when she was arrested and charged with four counts of first degree criminal sexual assault and two counts of third degree criminal sexual assault. Ellsworth is being accused of having sexual relations with three students both on and off of the school grounds.

On January 23, 2009, Jennifer Dawn Liskey, 38, of Topeka, Kansas pleaded no contest to two counts of aggravated indecent liberties and one count of aggravated criminal sodomy of a 13-year-old boy.

Megan Sainsbury, a physical education teacher at Prospect High School in Saratoga, California, pleaded no contest to one felony count of attempted sexual penetration of a 17-year-old student.

Special education teacher Valerie Roesler, 27, was found drunk in a car at around 2 a.m. with a 15-year-old boy.

Kym Krocza, 41, was a math teacher at Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, Illinois, when she was arrested and charged with two counts of contributing to the criminal delinquency of a juvenile.

Michele Taylor, 31, a physical education teacher at East Valley High School in Yakima, Washington, was arrested and charged with first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor and two counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.

Ashley Jo Beach, 37, of Meridan, Idaho was a math and science teacher at the Meridan Middle School until she was caught in the bushes with a 13-year-old boy.

Kari Jo Atkinson, 28, of Idaho Falls was a physical education teacher at Sandcreek Middle School when she was arrested for having sexual relations with a 14-year-old male student.

Ellen Hunt, 46, was arrested and charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

JoAnn Stephens, a 43-year-old former teacher at Mineola High School in Mineola, Texas has pleaded guilty to having an improper relationship with a student.

Melissa Arnett, 33, worked as a special education teacher at Bourbon County High School, in Paris, Kentucky until her arrest. According to the police report, Arnett and a 16-year-old male student engaged in a sexual relationship at least five times.

Rebecca Nichols, 37, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, after a 16-year-old boy told his mother that he and Nichols were involved in a sexual relationship and that Nichols gave him alcohol and marijuana before having sex.

Mariane Kieffer, 39, a special education teacher at Carpenter Middle School in Plano, Texas was arrested and charged with having an improper relationship between an educator and student and sexual assault of a child.

Michelle Simonson, 28, a special education teacher in Oxford Township, Michigan, was arrested after allegedly sending over 50 sexually explicit messages and a topless photo of herself to a 14 year old student.

Melissa Ann Andreini, 28, resigned from her position as a special education teacher at Helper Junior High School in Helper, Utah, after being investigated for her alleged sexual involvement with a 15-year-old male student.

Wendy Cannin, 30, was about to start her third school year as a math teacher and coach at Heppner High in Oregon, but was interrupted by police and hauled off to jail for allegedly having sex with two students.

Sheral Lee Smith, 37, was a teacher for three weeks at the at New Summit school in Jackson, MS until she was fired after being arrested and charged with statutory rape and transfer of a controlled substance.

Jamie Nicole Hale, 32, pleaded no contest to two counts sexual battery with a 17-year-old male student. According to Lincoln County authorities, Hale was a choir teacher at Star Valley High School in Afton, Wyoming at the time of her arrest.

Cynthia Horvath, 45, an ex-teacher of Warner Christian Academy was arrested, for having sexual relations with a 17-year-old student.

A former science teacher, Karolyn Nagel, 24, was arrested and charged with computer pornography and traveling to meet a minor.

Sheila Vazquez, 37, a mother of three and former teacher at the Renaissance School in Warren Township, Indiana pleaded guilty to one count of sexual misconduct of a 15-year-old male student.

Sandy L. Binkley, 36, a math teacher at Portland High School in Portland, Tenn., was arrested and charged with statutory rape of a 17-year-old student at the school.

Sheree Buchanan, a 26-year-old second and third-grade teacher at Kiana School in Kiana, Alaska was jailed Monday after she allegedly had sex 15 to 20 times with a 16-year-old student.

Teri K. Decker, a 40-year-old teacher at Corning High School in New York has been arrested after she allegedly had sexual contact with a 16-year-old male student inside her classroom.

Rebecca Bogard was a 27-year-old teacher at the Center for New Opportunities, a public school in Biloxi, is charged with Exploitation of a child, touching of a child for lustful purposes, and statutory rape.
